About us

The European Sustainable Roads Alliance (ESRA) was initiated by Dr. Fredy Ivar Sierra Fernandez and Drs. Miriam Frosi, both of whom have extensive experience in road infrastructure and the development and implementation of sustainable innovations.

Through their practical experience, they recognise the significant opportunities to accelerate sustainable innovation across the sector. At the same time, efforts by governments, knowledge institutions and businesses often remain fragmented, limiting the impact and practical application of innovative solutions.
